Hongkong Post announces sale of Mainland, Macao and overseas philatelic products on ShopThruPost (with photos)
******************************************************************************************
Hongkong Post announced today (March 4) that selected philatelic products issued by China Post, the Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau and the overseas postal administrations of Australia, Isle of Man, Liechtenstein, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United Nations will be available for online sale from March 11 (Friday).

The Ren-Yin Year presentation pack issued by China Post consists of eight special stamps of two designs. The stamps carry forward the concept of "country" and "home" in the fourth series of zodiac stamps. The first stamp is named "Guoyun Changlong" (national fortune and prosperity). It depicts a majestic tiger gazing into the distance, symbolising the determination and ambition of the nation's development. The second stamp is named "Huyun Jixiang" (tigers carry good luck), which shows a heart-warming scene of a gentle mother tiger tending to her two cubs, extending best wishes for new births and harmony to all families. Postal administrations around the world also continue the tradition of issuing zodiac stamps to welcome the Year of the Tiger. Tigers, notably recognised as a symbol of strength, are powerful and courageous. Liechtensteinische Post AG issued a mini-pane containing four mint stamps, each depicting a filigree silhouette of a tiger etched with laser technology, illustrating the art of traditional paper cutting. As for the zodiac stamps issued by Australia Post, the designs are based on the beckoning lucky cat figurine — a symbol of good fortune, wealth and prosperity, which is different from the traditional representation of tigers. Zodiac philatelic products will make a perfect gift or souvenir.

Annual albums released by various postal administrations are also put on sale concurrently. The stamp albums, comprising a rich collection of special stamps with descriptions and illustrations issued in 2021, will be exceptional collectibles for keen philatelists.

The above philatelic products will be available for sale at the Hongkong Post online shopping mall ShopThruPost (shopthrupost.hongkongpost.hk) starting from 8am on March 11 while stocks last. Details of each product, the prices and the sales quotas are set out in the Appendix. For further information, members of the public may visit the Hongkong Post Stamps website (stamps.hongkongpost.hk) or call the Hongkong Post Philatelic Bureau hotline at 2785 5711.
