Further postponement of second round of Basic Law Test organised by EDB

     The Education Bureau (EDB) announced today (March 2) that in light of the COVID-19 situation in Hong Kong and adjustment of summer vacation for schools, the second round of the Basic Law Test (BLT) for newly appointed teachers in public sector schools, originally postponed to March 26, will be further postponed. Details will be announced after the Easter holiday.

     Except for the test date, the previous chosen sessions and regions of test centres will remain unchanged. Candidates are not required to submit fresh applications or amend the submitted choices. The EDB will inform all applicants of the arrangements by email and SMS.

     The EDB will closely monitor the epidemic situation and move in step with the development of the overall anti-epidemic measures in Hong Kong for the arrangement of the test.
