Cancellation of Hospital Authority Convention 2022

The Hospital Authority (HA) today (February 25) announced the cancellation of the HA Convention 2022 scheduled for May 10 and 11, in light of the COVID-19 epidemic.
"Upon careful deliberation of the latest situation, the HA Convention Organising Committee has decided to cancel this year's convention to allow frontline healthcare staff who planned to join the event to focus their efforts in fighting the epidemic and the provision of emergency and essential patient services," the HA spokesperson said.
The spokesperson added that social distancing is an important public health initiative to prevent further spread of the epidemic.
