Suspension of counter service of Employment Agencies Administration of Labour Department tomorrow with occurrence of suspected cases

     The Labour Department (LD) today (February 24) announced that, with the occurrence of suspected COVID-19 cases involving two office staff members, the service counter of the Employment Agencies Administration at Unit 906, One Mong Kok Road Commercial Centre, 1 Mong Kok Road, Kowloon, will be suspended tomorrow (February 25) for cleaning and disinfection of the office. All relevant office staff will also undergo COVID-19 nucleic acid tests.

     The LD will maintain close liaison with the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health in its anti-epidemic work. It will continue to implement various disease prevention measures, and remind all staff to stay vigilant in regard to personal hygiene at all times. If they feel unwell, they should seek medical advice immediately and inform the department.
