Hong Kong-Israel Research and Development Cooperation Programme invites joint project proposals
******************************************************************************************
The Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) today (February 14) invited Hong Kong companies to submit joint project proposals for the Hong Kong-Israel Research and Development (R&D) Cooperation Programme. The application deadline for Hong Kong companies is May 25.

The Cooperation Programme is jointly implemented by the ITC and the Israel Innovation Authority under a bilateral framework to encourage industrial R&D collaboration and technology development between the two places. It provides Hong Kong and Israeli companies access to their respective government funding on collaborative R&D projects aiming at the development of products or processes leading to commercialisation in the global market.

Hong Kong companies collaborating with one Israeli company or more are welcome to participate by submitting proposals to the Enterprise Support Scheme under the Innovation and Technology Fund. Under the Cooperation Programme, Hong Kong and Israeli companies that are engaged in industrial R&D collaboration can apply for the respective government funding for their joint R&D projects. Details are available at the Innovation and Technology Fund website (www.itf.gov.hk/en/funding-programmes/supporting-research/ess). For enquiries, please contact the Secretariat of the Enterprise Support Scheme at 3422 3701.
