Postponement of second round of Basic Law Test organised by EDB

The Education Bureau (EDB) announced today (February 10) that in light of the severe COVID-19 situation in Hong Kong, the second round of the Basic Law Test (BLT) for newly appointed teachers in public sector schools, originally scheduled for February 26, will be postponed to March 26 (Saturday).

Except for the test date, the previous chosen sessions and regions of test centres will remain unchanged. Candidates are not required to submit fresh applications or amend the submitted choices. The EDB will inform all applicants of the arrangements by email.

The EDB will closely monitor the epidemic situation and move in step with the development of the overall anti-epidemic measures in Hong Kong for the arrangement of the test.
