Public hospitals daily update on COVID-19 cases

As at 9am today (February 7), 116 patients who had tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus were discharged from hospital in the last 24 hours. Nine patients (case numbers: 14592, 14729, 14733, 14830, 14969, 15040, 15041, 15042 and 15049) were wrongly counted as discharged yesterday. So far, a total of 13 232 patients have been discharged.
A total of 1 668 patients who had tested positive are currently hospitalised in the North Lantau Hospital Hong Kong Infection Control Centre, the Hospital Authority (HA) Infectious Disease Centre, the Community Treatment Facility at AsiaWorld-Expo and 14 public hospitals, including two critical patients and one serious patient. The remainder are in stable condition.
The HA will maintain close contact with the Centre for Health Protection to monitor the latest developments and to inform the public and healthcare workers on the latest information in a timely manner.
