Structural Engineer of Independent Checking Unit under the Office of the Permanent Secretary for Transport and Housing (Housing) tests preliminarily positive for COVID-19

The structural engineer worked at 10/F of the Lung Cheung Office Block in Wong Tai Sin. He last worked in the office on January 31. He had also worked at the Housing Authority Headquarters (HAHQ) in Ho Man Tin on February 4. He did not have contact with the public recently while performing duties. He had been wearing masks and following relevant disease prevention measures at work.
The office and work place in HAHQ have been fully cleaned and sterilised in accordance with the guidelines of the Centre for Health Protection (CHP).
The Transport and Housing Bureau will continue to maintain close liaison with the CHP and co-operate with its disease prevention measures and quarantine work.
