To align with the Government's announcement on the latest anti-epidemic measures with a view to curbing further spreading of the virus in the community, the Marine Department (MD) announced today (February 4) that the licensing and port formalities services at the Yau Ma Tei Marine Office, Tai Po Marine Office, Cheung Chau Marine Office and Shau Kei Wan Marine Office; and the seafarers' examination and certification services will be temporarily suspended from February 7 until further notice. Those who have made an appointment for relevant services or examinations will be separately informed.
Services at the Central Marine Office, Aberdeen Marine Office, Tuen Mun Marine Office and Sai Kung Marine Office, and other services provided by the MD will remain unaffected.
