Latest arrangements for EMSD public services

In view of the latest developments of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) announced today (February 3) that the Registration and Permit Office at its Kowloon Bay headquarters will be temporarily closed tomorrow (February 4) until further notice. During the period, the public can still access relevant services through the EMSD's website (www.emsd.gov.hk/tc/electronic_submissions/index.html), the EMSD's mobile application, by post or the collection box located on the ground floor lobby of the EMSD Headquarters. However, the EMSD appeals to the public to minimise visiting its headquarters in person unless necessary, and consider submitting their applications to the above-mentioned channel. Applicants will be notified of the results by phone or mail.
