Latest arrangements of AFCD events and public facilities

     In light of the latest developments of COVID-19, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) today (January 5) announced that FarmFest 2022, originally scheduled to be held from January 7 to 9 at Fa Hui Park in Mong Kok, will be cancelled, while the concerned online sales will remain as scheduled. Members of the public can purchase local agricultural and fisheries products from January 11 noon to January 26 noon at the FarmFest website, www.farmfesthk.com.

     In addition, AFCD public facilities including the Hong Kong Wetland Park, eight Country Park Visitor/Education Centres, eight Hong Kong Geopark Visitor Centres, Hoi Ha Visitor Centre and the Endangered Species Resource Centre will be temporarily closed starting from January 7 until further notice. In light of the closure of the Hoi Ha Visitor Centre, the Hoi Ha Festival to be held on January 8 and 9 will also be cancelled.
