The Government announced today (November 26) the reappointment of the incumbent Chairman and two serving members, and the appointment of two new members, to the Hospital Authority (HA).

     The incumbent Chairman, Mr Henry Fan Hung-ling, and two serving members, Mr Duncan Chiu and Mr Billy Wong Wing-hoo, have been reappointed for a term of two years with effect from December 1, 2021.

     The two newly appointed members are Mr Wan Man-yee and Ms Maisy Ho Chiu-ha. They are appointed for a term of two years with effect from December 1, 2021.

     Mr Wan is a registered professional surveyor. He is a member of the HA's Supporting Services Development Committee, a member of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority Board, a former member of the Hong Kong Housing Authority and a former member of the Long Term Housing Strategy Steering Committee.

     Ms Ho is the Executive Director of a listed company and a former Chairman of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. She is a serving Hospital Governing Committee (HGC) member of Queen Elizabeth Hospital, a former HGC Chairman of various public hospitals and a former member of the HA's Kowloon Regional Advisory Committee. Currently, Ms Ho is a member of the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education, the Council of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and the Equal Opportunities Commission.

     The Secretary for Food and Health, Professor Sophia Chan, welcomed Mr Wan and Ms Ho in joining the HA. She also expressed gratitude to the Chairman and two serving members who have been reappointed and gave heartfelt thanks to the outgoing members, Mr Ivan Sze Wing-hang, Ms Priscilla Wong Pui-sze and Mr Jason Yeung Chi-wai, for their invaluable contributions to the HA during the past six years.  

     The HA comprises a Chairman, 22 non-official members, three public officers and one principal officer from the HA. The membership list with effect from December 1, 2021, is as follows:
