Fatal traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan

At about 2.26pm, a motorcycle driven by the 66-year-old man and a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) driven by a 36-year-old man were travelling along Kwai Chung Road towards Tsuen Wan direction. Upon reaching near Mei Foo Sun Chuen, the HGV and the motorcycle reportedly collided.
Sustaining serious injuries, the motorcycle driver was certified dead at scene.
The HGV driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for further enquiries.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West is underway.
