Fatal traffic accident in Central

At about 0.18am, a motorcycle driven by the 44-year-old man was travelling along Central–Wan Chai Bypass Tunnel towards Sai Wan. When leaving the tunnel, it reportedly lost control and rammed into a lamp post.
Sustaining serious injuries, the motorcyclist was rushed to Queen Mary Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 1.31am.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island is underway.
