Hospital Authority meets Election Committee Candidates (with photos)

The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:

     The Hospital Authority (HA) Executive Committee members held a meeting today (September 12) to understand the views of the candidates of the Medical and Health Services Subsector of the Election Committee Subsector Ordinary Elections on various issues.
      
     The HA spokesperson said, "members from the HA Executive Committee met the 24 candidates of the Medical and Health Services Subsector of the Election Committee Subsector Ordinary Elections today. The candidates expressed their views on various issues such as medical and healthcare policy, economy and people’s livelihood."
      
     As the Election Committee is responsible for nominating and electing the Chief Executive and some Legislative Council members, the candidates also presented their perspectives on implementing "patriots administering Hong Kong" and the sustained development of "one country, two systems", with a view that the improved electoral system will bring stability to Hong Kong and elect people who genuinely serve Hong Kong as the Chief Executive and Legislative Council members through a fair, open and just election.
      
     The HA corporate authorised representatives will participate in the election activity in accordance with the requirement of relevant electoral regulations.
