Tender period extended for contract for boardwalk underneath Island Eastern Corridor

     The Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) today (September 10) announced that the tender period for the contract for the boardwalk underneath Island Eastern Corridor (Contract No. SD/2021/02) has been extended to noon on October 8.

     The CEDD invited tenders for the contract on July 9. The tender period was originally scheduled to expire at noon on September 17.

     The extension of the tender period was gazetted today. Details of the tender notice are available at the CEDD's website (www.cedd.gov.hk/eng/tender-notices/contracts/tender-notices/index.html).

     The CEDD has appointed Meinhardt Infrastructure and Environment Limited as the consultant to design and supervise the works. For enquiries, please call the company at 2858 0738 during office hours.
