Fatal traffic accident in Yuen Long

At 9.40am, a private car driven by the 60-year-old man was travelling along Wang Lok Street towards Yuen Long Sewage Treatment Works. When approaching near 50 Wang Lok Street, it reportedly crashed with a container trailer which was parked on roadside.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the man was rushed to Pok Oi Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 10.42am.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North is underway.
