Labour Department to hold occupational health public talks

     The Labour Department (LD) will hold a public talk entitled "Chemical and occupational health" on September 3 (Friday) at 7.15pm. The talk will discuss how chemicals enter the human body and their impact on health, as well as the prevention of chemical hazards.
      
     The LD will hold another talk entitled "Occupational health (OH) for workers of residential care homes" on September 8 (Wednesday) at 3.30pm. The talk will cover the OH hazards affecting workers of residential care homes and their preventive measures, with a demonstration of workplace exercises to enhance their awareness of OH.
      
     Both talks will be given in Cantonese by the LD's occupational health nurse in the Lecture Hall of the Hong Kong Space Museum, 10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui. Admission is free but preregistration is required. On-site registration is not available. Infection control measures taking into account the latest epidemic developments will be adopted at the venue.
