SCS grieves over passing of LCSD artisan

     The Secretary for the Civil Service, Mr Patrick Nip, today (August 18) expressed deep sorrow over the passing of an artisan of the Hong Kong West Tree Team of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) who was carrying out duties in Sai Ying Pun this morning.

     Mr Nip said, "On behalf of the civil service, I offer my deepest condolences to her family. The Civil Service Bureau has contacted the LCSD and will make every effort to help the family during this sad and difficult period."

      Mr Nip also sent his regards to another colleague who was injured in the incident and wished him a speedy recovery.
