Fatal traffic accident in Tsuen Wan

At about 11.55pm, a bus driven by the 63-year-old man was travelling along the left first lane of the slip road of Tuen Mun Road towards Kowloon. When approaching near Ting Kau Bridge, it reportedly collided with a light goods vehicle that was stopped on the highway suspectedly due to breakdown.
Sustaining serious head injury, the man was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 0.50am today (August 16).
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South is underway.
