Special announcement on fire in Tsing Yi South (2)

A fire broke out at a recycling site at Tsing Yi Road in Tsing Yi South at 5.38am today (June 29). The Fire Services Department is conducting a firefighting operation.
There is heavy smoke at the scene. The air quality data collected at the air monitoring station in Tsuen Wan showed that the respiratory suspended particulate level has slightly increased. Members of the public in Tsuen Wan, Tsing Yi and Kwai Chung may be affected by the smoke and unusual odour carried by the wind. Hence, members of the public are advised to close their doors and windows if necessary, and stay calm.
