TD reminds public on eight franchised bus routes plying between Yuen Long and North Lantau/airport to divert via Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Tunnel from June 20

     The Transport Department (TD) today (June 17) reminded members of the public that eight franchised bus routes plying between Yuen Long District and North Lantau/the airport operated by Long Win Bus Company Limited (LW) will be diverted via the Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Tunnel with effect from the first departure on June 20 (Sunday). 
      
     The following eight bus routes (details at Annex) will observe the Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Tunnel Bus-Bus Interchange for passengers to interchange bus routes to/from various destinations between Yuen Long District and North Lantau/the airport. 
 
  • Route No. A36 (Yuen Long (Kam Sheung Road Station) - Airport (Ground Transportation Centre))
  • Route No. A37 (Yuen Long (Long Ping Station) - Airport (Ground Transportation Centre))
  • Route No. E36 (Yuen Long (Pat Heung Road) - Airport (Ground Transportation Centre))
  • Route No. E36A (Yuen Long (Tak Yip Street) - Tung Chung (Yat Tung Estate Public Transport Terminus))
  • Route No. E37 (Tin Shui Wai Town Centre - Airport (Ground Transportation Centre))
  • Route No. NA36 (Yuen Long (Kam Sheung Road Station) - Airport (Cathay Pacific City)
  • Route No. NA37 (Tin Shui Wai Town Centre - Airport (Cathay Pacific City)
  • Route No. N30 (Yuen Long Station - Airport (Cheong Tat Road))

     The TD reminded passengers that the eight bus routes will no longer travel via Lantau Link Bus-Bus Interchange, Tuen Mun Road Bus-Bus Interchange and Tai Lam Tunnel Bus-Bus Interchange after the diversion and passengers of the routes cannot make interchanges at those Bus-Bus Interchanges.
      
     In addition, some current routings and boarding and alighting points might also change. Passengers are asked to note the bus diversion and interchange arrangements early to avoid affecting their journey, and obtain more information on the TD's website (www.td.gov.hk/en/tmclkl/index.html) or LW's website (www.lwb.hk/en/tmclk.html) and mobile application.
