Temporary suspension of testing service at Sha Tsui Road Playground mobile specimen collection station
******************************************************************************************
A spokesman for the Food and Health Bureau (FHB) announced today (May 28) that service of the mobile specimen collection station at Sha Tsui Road Playground in Tsuen Wan is temporarily suspended as the station was burnt down in a fire. Persons who need to receive testing may go to the community testing centre located at Wai Tsuen Sports Centre in the same district. There are still plenty of booking and walk-in quotas for testing service at that community testing centre, which provides self-paid testing services to the public for general community or private purposes (such as certifications for travelling or work) and free testing services for persons subject to compulsory testing or targeted groups requiring testing.
The FHB and the service contractor are now actively arranging mobile specimen collection vehicles to provide service at Sha Tsui Road Playground. The testing service at that mobile specimen collection station is expected to resume after 2pm today.
