Proposed Sewerage Works for Outlying Islands Sewerage Stage 2 - Extension of sewerage system to other unsewered villages in Mui Wo authorised

The proposed sewerage works comprises the following:
(i) the construction of a sewage pumping station at Luk Tei Tong;
(ii) the construction of twin rising mains and gravity sewers; and
(iii) ancillary works including the required utilities diversion, road and drainage works, provision of manholes, temporary closure and reinstatement of carriageways/footpaths/open space, necessary architectural, building services and landscaping works.
Construction works for the scheme are to be carried out by the Drainage Services Department.
Details of the sewerage scheme were published in the Government Gazette on July 3, 2020; July 10, 2020; November 6, 2020 and November 13, 2020.
