Government continues to provide testing services for public during Easter/Ching Ming Festival holidays
******************************************************************************************
The Food and Health Bureau announced today (March 31) that the 21 community testing centres (CTCs) will remain open during the five-day holidays for the Easter and Ching Ming Festival (April 2 to 6) to enable members of the public to undergo testing.

The CTCs will remain open daily from 8am to 1.30pm and from 2.30pm to 8pm. As of today, the appointment rate of the 21 CTCs in the territory for the next seven days (April 1 to 7) is around 20 per cent, with plenty of booking quotas up to more than 220 000 available to meet the testing demand. Information on the CTCs is available at: www.communitytest.gov.hk/en/.

Mobile specimen collection stations in various districts will also continue to be in service during the holidays to provide free testing to the public (see the list and service scope at www.coronavirus.gov.hk/eng/early-testing.html). Persons of certain targeted groups (including employees of designated scheduled premises and catering businesses, construction site personnel, school staff), persons subject to compulsory testing, as well as persons with "LeaveHomeSafe" COVID-19 exposure notification or SMS notification from the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health (DH) reminding them to undergo testing as soon as possible may receive free testing at the CTCs or mobile specimen collection stations (if service scope is applicable).

In addition, members of the public can obtain deep throat saliva specimen collection packs at designated hours during the holidays if needed at 10 general out-patient clinics (GOPCs) of the Hospital Authority (HA) or vending machines set up at 20 MTR stations (see Annex 1 for details) for free on a first-come-first-served basis while stocks last. As post offices will close during the holidays, the Government will suitably increase the number of specimen collection packs for distribution at MTR stations. The public can return their specimens to the 10 HA GOPCs, 13 designated clinics of the DH or 23 specimen collection points at Government premises (see Annex 2 for details).

The public may also undergo testing through other testing channels (see www.coronavirus.gov.hk/eng/early-testing.html for details).
