Sewerage rising main rehabilitation works at Seaview Promenade

     The Drainage Services Department today (February 24) announced that sewerage rising main rehabilitation works will be carried out on February 25 near Deep Water Bay Beach and Repulse Bay Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island. The water quality of the nearby waters may potentially be affected. To safeguard public health, members of the public are advised not to swim at the nearby beaches and sea area on that day.

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced earlier that in view of the latest developments of COVID-19, all gazetted bathing beaches were temporarily closed from December 10, 2020, until further notice.
