New tunnel an engineering marvel

     To enhance Hong Kong's top-notch infrastructure and transport network, the Government has embraced the challenge of building the longest and deepest subsea tunnel to create the Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Link Northern Connection.

     News.gov.hk interviewed engineers of the Highways Department to learn about the innovative methods and techniques used to build the tunnel and their experience of taking part in such a mega project.
