Appointments to Advisory Council on the Environment

Six new members are appointed to the ACE. They are Ms Ada Fung Yin-suen, Professor Alexis Lau Kai-hon, Dr Ma Kwan-ki, Dr Jeanne Ng Chi-yun, Dr Wong Kwok-yan and Dr Raymond Yau Man-hung.
The Secretary for the Environment, Mr Wong Kam-sing, said, "I warmly welcome Mr Wong and Professor Tam to be re-appointed as the Chairman and the Deputy Chairman respectively of the ACE and the appointment of the six new members to the Council. I am looking forward to the continued support of the ACE for the development of environmental protection and conservation policies.
"I thank the outgoing members, namely Mr Cary Chan Wing-hong, Mr Adam Koo Tze-cheung, Dr Michael Lau Wai-neng, Professor Albert Lee, Professor Irene Lo Man-chi, Mr Ma Lee-tak and Mr Conrad Wong Tin-cheung, for their valuable advice and contributions to the ACE in the past years."
The appointments, published in the Gazette today, will be effective from January 1, 2021.
