Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tai Po yesterday afternoon (December 15) in which a 52-year-old foreign man died.

     At 6.06pm, the 52-year-old foreign man was riding a bicycle uphill along Bride's Pool Road towards Tai Mei Tuk. When approaching the bend, the cyclist reportedly lost balance and fell onto the ground.

     Sustaining head injuries, the man was rushed to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 7.12pm.

     Investigation will be conducted by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North.
