Fatal traffic accident in Tai Po

At 9.39pm yesterday, a private car driven by the 20-year-old man was travelling along Bride’s Pool Road towards Tai Po. When approaching Plover Cove Reservoir, it reportedly lost control and rammed into a lamp post.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the driver was rushed to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 10.32pm yesterday.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North is underway.
