​In view of the severity of the local epidemic situation, the Government needs to take measures to significantly reduce the flow of people and social contact to stop COVID-19 from spreading in the community. The Fire Services Department (FSD) today (December 1) announced that starting from tomorrow (December 2), fire protection units of the FSD will provide emergency services and essential public services. Special arrangements will be made for licence and acceptance applications.

     For enquiries regarding licensing matters, including fire services certificates, dangerous goods licences, applications for dangerous goods vehicle inspection, fire service installation acceptance inspections, compliance inspections for ventilating systems and fee payment, please call the hotline 2733 7619 during office hours.

     Meanwhile, the Shroff Office of the Licensing and Certification Command Headquarters located on 5/F, Fire Services Headquarters Building, will maintain limited services. Those wishing to submit documents or pay licence fees in person should make an appointment via the hotline 2733 1595 during office hours. To reduce social contact, members of the public are encouraged to settle payments electronically as much as practicable.      Regarding matters relating to the collection of building plans at the Fire Safety Command Headquarters on 7/F, Fire Services Headquarters Building, please call 2170 9665 during office hours for the necessary special arrangements.
