Second phase of closure of Yau Ma Tei Multi-storey Car Park from December 1
***************************************************************************
The Transport Department (TD) today (November 27) reminded members of the public that the second phase of the closure of the Yau Ma Tei Multi-storey Car Park will be implemented from December 1 (Tuesday) in order to facilitate the construction of the Central Kowloon Route by the Highways Department.

Starting from 12.01am on December 1, the 5th floor of the Car Park will cease operation and be closed permanently. Before closure of the 5th floor, users who have parked their vehicles on that floor should remove their vehicles or park them on the 4th floor of the Car Park or other floors beneath, which are still open for use. Otherwise, these vehicles will be towed away. Owners or drivers of the vehicles concerned should pay the appropriate parking and towing fees.

Notices have been displayed in the Car Park to inform users of the closure arrangements.

Upon implementation of the second phase of the closure, the 1st to 4th floors of the Car Park will remain opened while the number of private car and motorcycle parking spaces will be reduced to 350 and 34 respectively. With effect from January 1, 2021, the Car Park will be fully closed and cease operation. The TD will announce the arrangements in due course.
