The Chief Executive, Mrs Carrie Lam, will depart for Macao in the afternoon on Monday (November 9) to attend the opening ceremony of the First Conference of the International Science, Technology and Innovation Forum of Boao Forum for Asia the next day where she will deliver a speech. The Secretary for Innovation and Technology, Mr Alfred Sit, and the Director of the Chief Executive's Office, Mr Chan Kwok-ki, will join the visit.
Mrs Lam will return to Hong Kong in the afternoon on November 10. During her absence, the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, will be the Acting Chief Executive.
