Suspension of all airmail postal services to Malaysia

Hongkong Post today (October 21) announced that all airmail postal services (including Speedpost service) to Malaysia will be suspended from tomorrow (October 22) owing to substantial reduction in flight frequencies by airlines, which has resulted in a nearly complete inability to provide any air traffic capacity to cope with the posting volume. Members of the public may consider using surface mail for posting items to Malaysia. It is estimated that the journey time for posting through surface mail to Malaysia would take about six days.
