Traffic enforcement operation against illegal parking in Sha Tin Police District concludes

     To facilitate face-to-face class resumption in phases, Sha Tin Police District conducted an operation against illegal parking in Sha Tin, Tin Sum and Ma On Shan police divisions on September 21, 22, 27 and 28. More than 2,800 fixed penalty tickets were issued.

     The operation focused on illegal parking or stopping at traffic black spots near schools, with a view to ensuring smooth traffic flow and safety of the public.

     Sha Tin Police District will continue to step up traffic enforcement actions and raise public awareness of road safety through publicity and education.
