"Book GOPC" mobile application function rolled out to all general out-patient clinics
The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:

The Hospital Authority (HA) has announced that beginning today (September 25), members of the public can book appointments for any of the general out-patient clinics (GOPCs) in Hong Kong through the "Book GOPC" function in the HA's one-stop mobile application "HA Go".
The HA launched the pilot project for the "Book GOPC" mobile application function on June 19. With the smooth implementation of the pilot project, it has been officially rolled out to all GOPCs in phases since July 24. The public can now book appointments for all GOPCs either through the GOPC Telephone Appointment System or the above-mentioned mobile application function.
The spokesperson said, "The public can manage their appointments conveniently with 'Book GOPC' while browsing the clinic quota status, booking appointments for themselves and others, and making enquiries and cancellations. Meanwhile, the elderly appointment quota is also assigned with consideration of the service needs of the elderly."
The spokesperson added, "'Book GOPC' is one of the functions of the HA's mobile app 'HA Go'. The public can download the 'HA Go' mobile application, complete the registration and activate their accounts at the designated counters during their next appointments, and then they can use the function of 'Book GOPC' in the mobile app."
Clinic staff will assist patients in need to activate their accounts. The GOPC Telephone Appointment System continues to provide its booking service as usual. For details of the booking means for GOPC services and other related information, please visit the GOPC website (www.ha.org.hk/gopc).
