In line with the Government's announcement yesterday (September 10) on full resumption of normal public services, the Inland Revenue Department announced today (September 11) that it will resume its normal public services from September 15. Details of the opening hours of its various offices can be found on the department's website at www.ird.gov.hk/eng/cu_ol.htm.

     As an infection control measure, all visitors entering or remaining in the department's premises are required to wear masks. Any visitor who does not wear a mask will not be served and will be asked to leave the department's premises.

     To reduce social contact, the department encourages the public to contact it by telephone, send documents to it by post and use electronic services to handle tax matters as much as possible. A list of such services can be found on the department's website at www.ird.gov.hk/eng/ese/index.htm.
