QEH announces passing away of COVID-19 patient

The spokesperson for Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) announced today (August 3) that an 84-year-old female patient confirmed with COVID-19 (case no: 2115) passed away today.
The patient, with chronic disease, was admitted to QEH on July 10 due to syncope and a fall. Her condition continued to deteriorate and she eventually succumbed at 5.28am today.
QEH was saddened about the passing away of the patient and will offer necessary assistance to her family.
Including the above case, 37 COVID-19 confirmed patients have passed away in public hospitals so far.
