Swift and convenient "Easy Form Filling for Public Rental Housing Application" (with photos)

The Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) will launch tomorrow (April 29) an online service for filling in public rental housing (PRH) applications. The "Easy Form Filling for PRH Application" will provide a more convenient and time saving way for completing PRH applications than the manual filling in of the application form.
"This online e-form filling-in service enables PRH applicants to complete application forms more accurately and quickly. The form filling 'wizard' will help applicants fill in accurate information and make timely amendments," a spokesman for the HA said.
"Applicants can save time in searching the Application Guide manually, calling the Public Rental Housing Application Office or visiting the office in person with enquiries on how to fill in the form," the spokesman said.
Moreover, the "Easy Form Filling for PRH Application" system will provide a checklist of supporting documents and declaration forms required for the PRH application to enable applicants to make them ready in one go.
The spokesman reminded applicants that they must print out and sign the completed e-application forms before submitting them together with the signed declaration forms and supporting documents as required by mail or in person to the Housing Department's Applications Sub-section at the specified time, otherwise the application will not be validated and will not take effect.
Applicants will be notified of the progress of the applications via registered email. They may also check the application status in the "Easy Form Filling for PRH Application" system at any time.
Members of the public who wish to access the "Easy Form Filling for PRH Application" system from tomorrow may register a user account on the HA/Housing Department website. A video demonstrating the use of the system is available on the HA/Housing Department website: www.housingauthority.gov.hk.
