Fatal traffic accident in Pat Heung

At about 5pm, two motorcycles driven by the 27-year-old man and a 29-year-old man were travelling in sequence along Route Twisk towards Pat Heung, while a private car driven by a 34-year-old man was travelling along Route Twisk towards Tsuen Wan. When approaching Kap Lung, the motorcycle driven by the 27-year-old man reportedly lost control and the three cars collided.
Sustaining multiple injuries, the 27-year-old motorcycle driver was rushed to Pok Oi Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 6.02pm. Another 29-year-old motorcycle driver sustained waist injuries and was sent to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital in conscious state.
Investigation by the Accident Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North is underway.
