**********************************************************************
The Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Office of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) invites applications starting today (November 8) for the Partnership Projects under the ICH Funding Scheme.

Applications are invited for three items under the Partnership Projects, namely the Research and Publication on the Items of the "Representative List of the ICH of Hong Kong", the Survey and Research for Enriching the "ICH Inventory of Hong Kong", and the ICH Mobile Centre.

The successful applicants of the Research and Publication on the Items of the "Representative List of the ICH of Hong Kong" will conduct in-depth research on the cultural content, historical development and transmission of 20 items inscribed onto the Representative List of the ICH of Hong Kong, as well as collect relevant documents and photographic materials for publication of monographs. Each monograph will be dedicated to a single item on the Representative List.

The successful applicants of the Survey and Research for Enriching the "ICH Inventory of Hong Kong" will conduct surveys and research on items not yet included in the "ICH Inventory of Hong Kong". The studies cover oral traditions and expressions, performing arts, social practices, rituals and festive events, knowledge and practices concerning nature and the universe, and traditional craftsmanship.

The ICH Mobile Centre will provide exhibitions, education and public programmes through a vehicle to promote ICH and enhance the understanding of local ICH items among students and the public. The successful applicant is required to design, plan and operate the ICH Mobile Centre, which will tour around schools and public places in Hong Kong from September 2020 to July 2022.

Application information is available at the ICH Office website (www.lcsd.gov.hk/ICHO). The deadline for applications is 6pm on December 20.
