Fatal traffic accident in Sha Tau Kok

At about 2.20pm, a motorcycle driven by the 57-year-old man was travelling along Bride’s Pool Road towards Luk Keng. When approaching near Nam Hang Mei, it reportedly dashed to the opposite lane and collided with a private car driven by a 53-year-old man.
Sustaining serious head and chest injuries, the motorcyclist was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 5.32pm.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North is underway.
