     Since this afternoon (November 3), protestors have been gathering in the New Town Plaza, Sha Tin and were generally peaceful initially. Nonetheless, at around 4pm, some masked rioters, who were holding fire extinguishers, suddenly vandalised facilities like turnstiles and smashed up glass panes of a customer service centre in Sha Tin MTR station. Within minutes, the mask rioters fled to other floors of the New Town Plaza.

     In response to the occurrence of crimes, Police officers attended the scene to handle the case and arrest offenders. Some people threw objects from height at Police officers. Police warn all rioters to stop all illegal and violent acts immediately and refrain from all dangerous acts.
