Celebrating a Cultural Centre star

     The Cultural Centre and its pipe organ are celebrating 30 years of bringing music to Hong Kong. The organ was hand-made by renowned Austrian manufacturer Rieger Orgelbau.

     To promote organ music and nurture local organists, the Cultural Centre has been organising the "King of the Instruments" Pipe Organ Education Series annually since 1999.

     News.gov.hk spoke to the programme's principal instructor, two of its graduates and the instrument's maintenance technicians to find out what makes the Cultural Centre's organ a unique part of Hong Kong's musical history.
