Rioters vandalise properties in Tsim Sha Tsui, Yau Ma Tei and Mong Kok

Please broadcast the following message as soon as possible and repeat it at suitable intervals:
 
     At around 3pm, rioters who had gathered in Tsim Sha Tsui, went on to damage shops and public utilities in Mong Kok, Yau Ma Tei, Jordan and Tsim Sha Tsui. 
      
     Rioters spray-painted, vandalised and hurled petrol bombs into Mong Kok, Yau Ma Tei and Austin MTR Stations.  Some rioters prized open the metal gate of a restaurant on Waterloo Road and threw debris into the restaurant. They also broke into banks on Carnarvon Road and Nathan Road and set fires therein.
      
     Police officers have used minimum force necessary to disperse protestors, including the deployment of tear gas, to counter rioter’s act. Police will conduct dispersal and arrest operation soon. Police warn everyone at scene to stop their illegal acts immediately.
      
     Police now appeal to members of the public to stay tuned to the latest situation, keep windows closed, stay indoors and avoid travelling to the area concerned.
