Hong Kong ICT Awards 2020 opens for enrolment
     The Hong Kong ICT Awards (HKICTA) 2020 is open for enrolment today (October 18). Entries of locally developed information and communications technology (ICT) products and solutions are invited to compete for the top accolades in eight award categories. The deadline for enrolment is January 3, 2020.

     Steered by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, the HKICTA 2020 is organised by eight local industry associations and professional bodies. The award categories and respective Leading Organisers are listed below:

Smart People Award The Hong Kong Council of Social Service
Student Innovation Award The Hong Kong Association for Computer Education

     The best entry in each category will be granted a Grand Award, while the Award of the Year will be selected by a Grand Judging Panel led by the President of the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, Professor Simon Ho.
     Since its debut in 2006, the HKICTA has endeavoured to recognise and promote outstanding ICT inventions and applications, thereby encouraging innovation and excellence among Hong Kong's ICT talent and enterprises to meet business and social needs.
