Rioters vandalise properties and set fire in Mong Kok

     As the night fell, a large group of rioters gathered on Nathan Road and vandalised facilities in Mong Kok. At around 8pm, explosion sound was heard near a police vehicle passing by Nathan Road. Some rioters also stormed Mong Kok MTR station and set fire therein. At around 9pm, rioters hurled over 20 petrol bombs at Mong Kok police station. Rioters also built barricades to block roads, damaged traffic lights and damaged vehicles passing by. They also assaulted innocent bystanders.
     Their riotous acts seriously disrupted public order and caused serious disturbance to members of the public. Police warn all rioters to stop all illegal acts and leave immediately.
