Rioters vandalise police vehicle
Attention duty announcers, radio and TV stations:
Please broadcast the following message as soon as possible and repeat it at suitable intervals:
At around 7pm, rioters smashed the window of a white private car parked on Dundas Street near Nathan Road. They sprayed paint on it and looted all properties from the vehicle. The Police confirmed that the damaged private car is a police vehicle, which was used by Identification Bureau officers who were handling a non-protest-related “Burglary” case.
Rioters have committed “criminal damage” offence and are liable to 10 years’ imprisonment. They had seriously disrupted law and order in the area and impeded police to deliver service to those in need. Police express the strongest condemnation against all riotous acts by the rioters and warn all rioters to stop all illegal acts.
