At around 5.30pm today (October 13), a Police officer attending to a case of “Criminal Damage” at Kwun Tong MTR station was wounded. One rioter used a sharp-edged object to slash the officer’s neck from behind. The injured officer, in conscious state, was sent to United Christian Hospital for medical treatment. Police have immediately arrested two persons at scene.

Sharp-edged object is a deadly weapon. Police will strive to investigate all violent acts.
