Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Wan Chai today (October 12) in which a 33-year-old man died.

     At about 1.05am, a private car driven by a 28-year-old man was travelling along Gloucester Road towards Central. When approaching near Luard Road, it reportedly rolled over the 33-year-old man who was lying on the road.

     Sustaining serious head injuries, the man was certified dead at scene.

     The private car driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death. He is being detained for further enquiries.

     Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island is underway.
